Social Prescribing Team

Your Social Prescribing Team

Jill Bonehill

I have lived in Solihull for the majority of my life. When I finished work to become a full time mum, I enrolled on a counselling course which led me to become a volunteer adviser at Citizens Advice Solihull. That was nearly 30 years ago! I returned to part time work whilst continuing to volunteer at Citizens Advice. I am also an experienced mentor, Non Executive Director and a Trustee for a number of organisations in the health and wellbeing and financial sustainability sectors. These roles have provided me with an in depth understanding of the challenges around health inequalities so taking on the role of Social Prescriber seemed like a natural progression to enable me to use my skills and experience to further support the local community. In my spare time I love watching live sport, especially tennis and rugby, and I’m a season ticket holder at Leicester Tigers. I also enjoy traveling, participating in most forms of exercise and have recently returned to skiing.
