Your Nursing Associate is Abi Jones

Your Trainee Nursing Associate is Faye Ellen-Cattell

The Nursing Associate role was developed in 2017 to bridge the gap between health care assistants and registered nurses. Nursing associates are also registered with the NMC, working to the same code as registered nurses.

Abi qualified in 2023, and is currently working towards her registered nurse qualification. Faye began her training as a nursing associate in 2023, to be qualified in 2025. 

Nursing associates can help with:

  • Blood tests
  • Blood pressure checks
  • Wound care
  • Diabetic pre-review checks
  • ECG's
  • Injections
  • Health checks
  • Learning Disability and Mental Health reviews
  • Cervical screening
