Clinical Pharmacists

Our Pharmacists are: Karen Kite, Aysha Mulla and Priya Solanki

About Us

Clinical Pharmacists are highly qualified healthcare professionals who have trained for many years to become experts in medicines. We are best placed to give advice about medicine related problems or concerns and can support you with long-term conditions such as Asthma, Diabetes and High blood pressure. We can review anyone taking multiple medicines, to ensure the medicines are appropriate and working as intended. We work directly with you, as part of the wider general practice team and are supported by a Pharmacy Technician.

We can help with:

  • Reviewing your medicines as part of a Structured Medication Review
  • Advising on medication changes following a hospital admission
  • Providing support for medication queries
  • Agreeing and making changes to your prescriptions
  • Advising about medicines and possible side effects
  • Evaluating medication therapy and making appropriate recommendations (to patients or healthcare professionals.
  • Providing information and advice about the safe and effective use of your medicines
  • Recognising untreated health conditions that could be managed with medicines
  • Advising patients about the best way to take medication
  • Perform health checks such as taking your blood pressure.
